Arithmetic Village meets Waldorf

July 22, 2010

The first day of AV at the home school was fabulous. I loved telling the story with the puppets and seeing the beautiful finished treasure chests.  They were a bit too small, but overflowing treasure chests are nice, right?  It was different going into someone else’s classroom verses hosting my own workshop.  The wonderful teacher managed all questions and kept everyone on task. She also sorted out all of the glue, scissors etc.  It was a lovely change.

The children were a dream  and everything went swimmingly! My favorite part was that the children picked up the jewels with their toes!  A very good activity for co-ordination and concentration. I’ll post those photos when I receive them. If you look closely at he picture with this post, you will notice a character on each corner!
